JBS Australia Video Production
Telling authentic stories from across one of Australia’s largest and most diverse workforces
Client: JBS Australia | Location: Australia
Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria
Visionair Media has worked extensively with JBS Australia to produce professional video content supporting recruitment, employee engagement, internal communications, workplace safety and organisational change.
Filming across multiple locations throughout Australia, our role has been to create a consistent visual style while capturing the individual character of each workplace, employee and community. From processing facilities and corporate offices to regional operations, every production has required careful planning, a strong understanding of operational environments and the ability to put people at ease in front of the camera.

The Project
JBS Australia required an experienced video production company capable of working across geographically dispersed locations while maintaining consistent production quality, messaging and branding.
The content needed to communicate with several different audiences, including current employees, potential recruits, management teams and people considering relocating to Australia for employment. Much of the filming took place within active operational environments, where safety, scheduling and minimal disruption were essential.
Visionair Media provided an end-to-end production service covering pre-production planning, location filming, employee interviews, cinematic B-roll, aerial drone footage where appropriate, editing, graphics, captions and final delivery.
Authentic Employee Stories
A significant part of our work with JBS Australia has focused on sharing real employee experiences.
Rather than relying on scripted corporate statements, we created interview-led videos featuring people from different roles, departments, cultural backgrounds and stages of their careers. Our interview process was designed to feel natural and conversational, helping participants speak confidently about their experiences, professional development and the opportunities available within the organisation.
These personal stories gave the videos credibility and warmth. They allowed prospective employees to hear directly from the people doing the work while helping existing team members feel recognised and represented.
Recruitment and Employer Branding Videos
Visionair Media produced recruitment video content designed to present JBS Australia as a diverse workplace offering genuine career opportunities.
The productions combined employee interviews with footage of operational facilities, workplace interactions, training, technology and regional communities. This provided viewers with a realistic understanding of both the available roles and the working environment.
Content was structured for use across recruitment campaigns, careers pages, presentations, internal platforms and social media. Where required, longer-form videos were accompanied by shorter edits that could be used to reach audiences across multiple digital channels.

“Feed Your Career” Video Content
The “Feed Your Career” series highlighted the professional pathways available to people working across the JBS Australia business.
Employees shared how they entered the organisation, the experience they gained and how their careers developed over time. Supporting footage showed each participant within their real working environment, providing context to their story and demonstrating the breadth of roles available throughout the company.
The resulting videos presented career development through genuine experiences rather than broad employment claims.
PALM Program Stories
Visionair Media also filmed stories connected with JBS Australia’s participation in the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility program.
These productions explored the experiences of participating employees, including their work, personal development, connection with colleagues and the broader opportunities created through the program.
The subject matter required a respectful and culturally aware production approach. Interviews were conducted in a relaxed environment, allowing each person to communicate their experience in their own words. Supporting footage helped establish a sense of place and showed the people, workplaces and communities behind each story.
Internal Communications and Organisational Change
Our work has extended beyond recruitment and employer branding into internal communications, workplace initiatives, safety messaging and organisational change.
For a large business operating across numerous sites, video provides a practical way to communicate complex information consistently. Visionair Media developed clear, engaging content that helped explain new processes and initiatives while keeping the message relevant to employees working in different roles and locations.
We also supported live and recorded internal communication programs, giving JBS Australia the flexibility to reach employees and stakeholders across the country.
Filming in Operational Environments
Producing content inside active industrial and food-processing environments requires more than strong camera work. It requires careful coordination, an understanding of workplace safety and the ability to adapt quickly when production schedules change.
Our crews worked closely with site representatives to manage access, inductions, personal protective equipment, production movements and interview schedules. Compact cinema camera packages allowed us to capture high-quality footage without unnecessarily interrupting day-to-day operations.
Where appropriate and permitted, CASA-licensed drone filming was used to establish the scale and location of facilities.
A Consistent National Production Approach
By using Visionair Media across multiple locations, JBS Australia was able to maintain a consistent production standard and visual identity.
Our national production capability reduced the need to brief different suppliers in each state. Every project followed a coordinated approach to lighting, interviews, sound recording, colour grading, graphics and delivery specifications.
The result was a growing collection of professional video content that could be used across recruitment, internal communications, employee engagement and corporate storytelling.
